A little stiff at first. They break in well. I just received my 3rd pair. My previous pairs lasted at least one year. They still have a little tread and one small hole in each shoe where the heel area material joins with the herl. I'm pretty rough on them as well.They feel great for someone with long and wide feet. The struggle is real for a size 14, width 4E. Arch support soles are recommended.The product is smaller than normal size. I normally wear a size 12 and the 13 wide I ordered was to small.Shoes are nice, well made, comfortable to a point. They are heavy, Wish they was composite toe instead of steal. They say the are 2 pounds but my scale has them 3.2pounds. Not much, but after a 12 hour shift your legs will feel the difference.Second pair nice shoeI wear a 12 M sneaker, but do to nerve and mussel problems I now have to wear lace up braces to stop my ankles from rolling. I ordered 14 EEE on the chart provided, hoping for room for heavy socks and the braces. My foot has to squeeze into these sneakers. I blame this on the piece of crap American companies who shop these jobs out to Chinese companies who don't do it right. I will never buy another shoe from Nautilus.Nautilus 1392 size 12 XXWIt appears the XXW is actually a 2 EE width and they are a little tight on the sides, a 3E would be perfect. Are they available in 3 EEE size? My old one's were a 4EEEE and they are a bit loose on the sides, so I had hoped the XXwide was a 3 EEE.Aparently I was wrong. I will definitely buy again and will tell others with awkward foot size to try these Nautilus boots.I have to wear safety shoes for the work place and as far as functionality and style goes these shoes can't be beat. They hold up for a good beating and make walking an ease even after months of standing on your feet.
