Always had more expensive walking shoes like Merrel & North Face / Ridge so a pleasant surprise to find a good looking and extremely well fitting shoe at less than £50 and its waterproof too. Even the sole seems to grip better in all conditions with just the right amount of give in the footbed & tread for gripping on rocks but still at home in mud and off camber grass banks that can be slippy. The upper has a sock type liner which is where I think the great fit and comfort comes from. Quite light also so I use for walking the dogs, park walks, casual walks, the lot.I even love the look of these with 3 or 4 colours to choice from. By far the best walking shoe I've purchased, enjoy.
