Rubber sole
A super comfortable rock climbing shoe for men who are ready for a performance upgrade from their current entry level shoes
Soft, unlined leather upper material controls moisture and provide all-day comfort and longevity. Padded and wicking cotton lined tongue for comfort and breathability.
Slightly downturned, asymmetrical shape promotes more aggressive climbing while maintaining comfort. 1.1mm LaspoFlex, semi-stiff midsole for moderate support.
Super sticky proprietary FriXion RS Rubber Compound for great friction and durability. The 1/2 forefoot sole allows for easy resoling so you can keep using your new favorite shoe.
Dual hook and loop closure system for easy on/off comfort and a precise fit. 2 heel pull-tabs for easy on/off as well as hooking to a carabiner.
Fits great, better then the la sportive turanchula’s IMO. They are slightly down turned, I would highly recommend that for beginners. I mainly Boulder (indoors) and I noticed the downturn immediately. It is not so downturned enough to stop being general purpose. The leather stretched a little in a month/ I got used to them and think I could have went into a half size down. I ordered same size as my street shoes. I have been climbing for about two months now and think I could utilize smaller shoes for foot holds. But I dont have to take them off for a couple hrs before my feet get sore.I don’t have much to go off of, but I (think) I would have liked a synthetic upper and softer rubber to be “perfect” beginner shoe.If you know you are going to climb a lot I would just get a intermediate shoe and skip beginner shoe.-Jason SeagullBuy an entire size down. The leather stretches a lot after a couple uses. Other than that great product.La Sportiva make great climbing shoes. I have a wide fore foot so it is very hard to find that pair that truly works. SO far La Sportiva are the only ones that do.Pros:Opposing velcro strapsMild curve on the bottomGood grippy solesGood colorComfortable to wear for several hoursCons:To get a size to fit my toes I have to go up 1 size. This leaves a bit of room length wise in the heal but isn't to noticable
