I've taken the shoe out for a total of about 5p miles now. It's definitely not the novablast. It doesn't seem to agree with my foot strike pattern. Feet are beginning to slide forward in shoe making it hard to keep heel locked. We sent these back immediately because the quality was so bad. I had to call multiple times to ask why I wasn’t being refunded. After 3 weeks my return was processed with $40 deducted.This is my first time discovering absolutely anything negative to say about an ASICS shoe. I run in them exclusively and thought the amount of research that went into this show made it a no brainer. I bought a 10.5 first and experienced crippling burning across the ball of my foot about 2 miles in and I immediately returned the shoe. Thinking perhaps it was a sizing issue and maybe there was too much slip in the shoe given the unique nature of its fit. So I ordered a size 10 just to see. Again at 2 miles right on cue such pain in my feet I had to stop and walk until it subsided every 3-5 min. Felt like skin was being rubbed right off the bottom of my feet. Varying levels of sock plush made no difference. Returning second pair and never coming back to this line.Okay, I know this is gonna sound nuts, but I ordered these in the black/red and in the blue. The Black/Red comes in a different box and it's made in Vietnam. The Blue ones are made in China. And the Black/Red ones are smaller and tighter. I'm not gonna say a 1/2 size smaller, just tighter and smaller.
